A Quick Note – Printable Baby Shower Games

Some of the following games require nothing more than a pen and paper – easy peasy! And you can easily create and print them out yourself at home.

In a hurry? No problem! I’ve created a few printable baby shower games that you can immediately download and print. You’ll find them here in my Etsy shop.

Baby Bingo

This game will help keep guests focused while the mom-to-be opens her gifts. Create or order bingo cards filled with common baby-related gifts (e.g., diapers, onesies, bottles). Guests mark off items as the mom-to-be opens her presents. The first to complete a row wins a prize!

Guess the Baby Food

Place jars of baby food on a table, labeling each with a number. Guests smell or taste the food and write down their guesses. The guest with the most correct answers wins a prize.

Diaper Pong

Arrange diapers in a triangular formation, assigning each a point value. Guests will then toss a ping pong ball into the diapers; the person or team with the most points is the winner!

Don’t Say “Baby” (Clothes Pin/Safety Pin Game)

This is a classic baby shower game that will help encourage guests to interact with one another. Everyone receives a clothes pin or safety pin at the start of the shower. If someone says “baby,” they lose their pin to the person who caught them. The one with the most pins at the end wins a prize.

Bottle Chug

This game is hilarious! Fill baby bottles with juice or water. Guests race to see who can drink the bottle the fastest.

Tinkle in the Pot

Place small jars or pots on the ground. Guests hold a ping pong ball between their knees, waddling their way to the jars, and try to drop their ball in.

Late Night Diapers

At my baby shower, guests wrote funny or encouraging messages on diapers. It was highly entertaining (and uplifting) during late-night diaper changes!

Left Right Game

Read a story about a baby using “left” and “right” frequently. Guests pass a gift around in the direction mentioned until the story ends, and the last holder keeps it.

My Water Broke!

Freeze tiny plastic babies in ice cubes. Guests get a cube in their drink, and the first to “break” their water wins. Or consider this hilarious alternative: Fill water balloons and challenge guests to hold them between their legs while waddling to a finish line.

Guess Who? (Baby Photos)

Display baby photos of the mom- and dad-to-be on a poster board (or clipped to a bead garland like this), encouraging guests to guess which photo belongs to which parent. Or take it up a notch with this alternative: Guests bring their baby photos, which are displayed anonymously. Everyone guesses which photo belongs to whom.

Guess the Due Date

This is another classic shower game! Ask guests to place bets on when the baby will arrive, making it more interesting by also guessing the time of day, along with the baby’s weight and length.

What’s in the Diaper?

This one is admittedly gross, but so funny! Melt chocolate candies into diapers and number them. Guests will then guess the candy based on its look or smell.

Pacifier Hunt

Hide mini pacifiers around the party space. The guest who finds the most win a prize.

Measure Mommy’s Belly

We couldn’t possibly leave out this popular baby shower game! Guests cut lengths of string to estimate the mom-to-be’s belly size. The person with the closest match wins a prize.

Baby Sock Matching

This one is pretty self explanatory: Mix up pairs of baby socks, and guests race to match them correctly.

Baby Charades

Play baby shower charades using baby-related phrases or activities, like “changing a diaper.” Or change it up by drawing, rather than acting them out, in a sort of twist on Pictionary.

What’s in the Diaper Bag?

Fill a diaper bag with random baby-related items. Guests feel inside without looking and guess what’s in it.

Baby Item Price Is Right

Display baby products and have guests guess their prices. This is actually trickier than it seems – even for us seasoned parents! The closest guess (without going over) wins a prize.

Baby Shower Feud

Every played baby shower feud (a twist on Family Feud)? Survey a group before the shower with baby-related questions. Guests will then try to guess the most popular answers.
